Description
Currently in it's 10th Season, "Eight is NEVER Enough" has played over 3000 performances off broadway in NYC and touring colleges and schools nationwide. The show has served as a great source of quality interactive entertainment for professionals, students and tourists of all ages throughout the NYC and tri-state area. Eight began it's first official sketch comedy run in the spring of 2003 which ran for 15-weeks at The Producer's Club's Shea Theatre in Times Square. After establishing a style and show structure, the company began touring College Campus Events (University of MD, Mt. Ida College, Stonehill College, College Misericordia), Comedy Clubs (Carolines on Broadway, NY Comedy Club. Boston Comedy Club), Cabaret Theatres (Don't Tell Mama, Dillons, Danny's, Rose's Turn) Night Clubs/& Music Venues ( The Knitting Factory , Club La Escueilita), Corporate Events, Theatres ( Wings Theatre , Where Eagles Dare Theatre, Lambs Theatre Off Bway), and Elementary schools ( Improv 4 KIDS ). In the spring of 2003, the troupe created a brief online series of 4 live world wide web casts filmed at Pseudo's TV Studios ( Pseudo.com) located in SoHo. The company of performers also developed a series of projects and shows from including "Here Come the Elephants"(political satire musical), "Rob the Vote" and "Follywood THE MUSICAL". Since Fall of 2004, the troupe has produced numerous shows at venues from NY to SC the troupe ran over 400 sold out performances at the NY Improv Comedy Club. From the fall of 2009-fall 2010 the troupe produced an official off-broadway run called "LMAO Off-Broadway" at the Midtown Theatre. You can currently catch the troupe live on stage at the Broadway Comedy Club.
