Welcome to the Education Index®

The Education Index is a service of Hobsons, an international college and career publisher. Hobsons creates a link between education and commerce by providing information on education and job opportunities to students, teachers, advisers, and parents across the world. Our products and services guide students from the age of 14 through high school and college into the world of work, professional education, and training. Our most popular services in the United States include CollegeView and the Hobsons Student Union.

Our primary goal in publishing the Education Index is to provide learners and educators with access to the best educational Web sites in a variety of subjects and lifestages. Whether you're researching astronomy or political science, theology or business, parenting or health, we want to provide you with quality resources, quickly. Since it went online in September of 1996, the Education Index has grown to more than 3,000 sites in 66 categories.

We've listed sites by Subject and by Lifestage (so you can find resources for preschoolers, college students, continuing education, and careers, to name a few).
