In addition to its main services, Dominion Retail also offers heating and cooling repair programs, gas line replacement, water line replacement, sewer line replacement, in-home electric line repair, surge HELP warranty and a water heater program.

Online Services

If you are a Dominion customer, you can log on to Dom.com and check your usage, adjust your account and view your bills.

Pay your Bills online - With Dom.com, you can pay your Dominion bills from the comfort of your home. To register all you need is an e-mail address and your Dominion account number.

Stop Service - If you want to stop your Dominion electrical service, log in to “Manage Your Account” on www.dom.com and request this option from the right hand menu. Dominion gas customers will need to make this request by calling the phone number listed on their bill. Allow 2-3 business days notice for electric service requests and 7 business days notice for gas requests.

Track work you requested - If you have requested Dominion to do something you can check the progress of the request on Dom.com with your work request number.

Regulation

In Virginia, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the State Corporation Commission (SCC) are the principal regulators of Dominion’s electric operations. In North Carolina, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the North Carolina Utilities Commission (NCUC) are the principal regulators of Dominion’s electric operations. Dominion’s gas distribution companies include Dominion East Ohio, Dominion Hope (located in West Virginia) and Dominion Peoples (located in Pennsylvania.) Sale of Dominion Hope and Dominion Peoples is pending regulatory approval.
