Description

DF Web Services was started in November of 2002 by me, Dan Falls in Eastern North Carolina. After a couple of years making my first attempts at website design, I loved the work and I was pretty good at it. I was asked to make a website for a friend's new company... it was a big hit. I went to work full time for the company and stayed up nights moonlighting as a freelance web designer. Needless to say, at age 35, four hours sleep a night does not help productivity, either in the day job, or my web design venture. I made a decision to leave full time employment at my "regular job" to devote my time and energy to what I really love... web design. It's a risky venture giving up a steady income to pursue my own business full time, but I actually have had to turn down some larger projects, simply on the basis of time (or lack of it!). So here we are. DF Web Services is here to serve you full time, not just on nights and weekends anymore.

I have developed free of charge and continue to maintain websites for non-profit organizations such as our local Habitat For Humanity and Moose Lodge #2194. I enjoy doing the work and it gives me a chance to give back to the community.

I would like to acknowledge my beautiful wife, Sarah. She offers incredible support and encouragement (and she didn't knock me sideways when I told her I was quitting my job!). Thanks also goes to my past and present clients for getting me where I am today. I have made a few friends along the way. I look forward to serving you, and many new customers in the future!
