When Cruel.Com was founded on April 1, 1996 as Cruel Site of the Day, you couldn't pick up a newspaper or magazine without seeing Glenn Davis. The founder of Cool Site of the Day was saying chirpy things like this:
"I view the Web as I view life, with the sense of wonder of the little boy that I carry inside of me. When he says, 'that's cool,' I listen." (Websight magazine)
It was an ugly time. Somebody had to make a case for the other side -- bitterness, sarcasm, disappointment, despair, perversion, anger and bad taste.
