Colorado Citizens for Science is a nonprofit organization, formed in 2002. It is composed of scientists and interested laypersons, and is loosely modeled after groups in other states that have been formed to support quality science education standards. Our aims are similar to those of the National Center for Science Education. CCFS does not engage in political controversy except as an advocate for science in matters relating to science. CCFS does not address issues of religion, morality or any other aspects of public life or education outside of science. Membership is open to the public.
