Motivations
This site is meant to give others an insight into who I am, what I like, and other information about me. I've made an effort throughout the development of this site to make it both attractive and easy to use. My hope is that you, the end viewer, are able to navigate easily and intuitively around the site without becoming lost or confused. The design/layout of the site is also meant to be attractive and professional, with a "modern" feel to it, while also remaining functional. It's up to you to decide how well I accomplished these goals.
Technology
This site makes use of a number of technologies and standards. These include XHTML and Cascading StyleSheets (CSS). Furthermore, the site makes use of the pMachine content management system. Using this CMS allows me to update the site from any internet-connected computer in the world by simply editing the files online in a dynamic environment.
The "Galleries" Page
The Galleries section of this site is a bit special. I've used pMachine to create a set of image galleries. You can find a tutorial on the process on this site.
