Levels of Protection

• Registered Users -- Logged-in users can edit the page
• Sysop only -- Only AboutUs sysops can edit the page

Reasons for Protecting

• The page is a high-traffic informational page (such as DomainPage) which often gets erased/edited by mistake; locking/protecting a page helps to ensure that the information
• The page has been targeted by spam bots or repeat vandalism
