Phil is our technical wizard. Born in Chichester, England, Phil first came to America as an employee of Advanced Micro Devices and worked for 30 years in Silicon Valley as a hardware designer and programmer. He moved to Carmel to enjoy the brisk ocean air, his daily walks along Scenic Drive, and his nightly chitchat at the Cypress Inn bar.
Erin is our website designer and editor. Born in San Francisco and raised in Palo Alto, Erin first visited Carmel as a young child on vacation with her parents. Between high school (Castilleja) and college (Stanford) she worked as a music critic for the Palo Alto Times Tribune (when Paul Emerson was editor) and returned to Carmel from time to time to write reviews of the Carmel Bach Festival. After working for 20 years as a technical writer for semiconductor companies, she retired to Carmel to pursue her hobbies: gardening, ballet, and the Professor Wembly mystery novel series.
