There have been a lot of mysterious deaths in Pattaya over the last few years. Many young and fit farangs have died of complications related to heart trouble. Strong rumours abound that girls were putting some sort of substance onto their breasts that would knock out the unwary tourist. She would then rob him and disappear. But it seems that some of them went a bit too far and the customers actually ended up going home in a box. How many tourists have actually died under such circumstances is anyone's guess. One thing's for sure, there are a lot of suspicious deaths down in Pattaya...and it also seems to the centre for farangs to lose the plot. Some farangs have hung themselves over break ups with ex (or so they thought!) bar girls while others have thrown themselves off the balcony of their apartment. Basically, as a tourist one shouldn't have any problems but it pays to keep your wits about toy. A lot of the problems reported seem to happen with long term residents.
