About the Artist
In the late 90s, Theo had begun to experiment with computer graphics (CG) after becoming intrigued by the realism CG could generate. After several years, Theo had developed a portfolio of close to two dozen pictures. To promote and show this artwork, BibleVerseArt.com was started in 1999.
By the end of the first month of its introduction to the online Christian community, the BibleVerseArt.com was receiving close to a thousand visitors a day. People were also signing up for Theo's online art newsletter in which Theo would send e-mail notices to his list of subscribers every time a new work of art was posted. Soon Theo was providing a new image every few weeks and in as little as six month's this site was receiving up to 7,000 visitors a day. Eventually close to 20,000 subscribers every few weeks were being blessed with new artwork to see.
Eventually, time constraints began to arise which interfered with the regular operation of the site. Theo who, at the time, held a full time job as a Police Officer was also running a small web and graphic design company. He specialized in building church and small business web sites, using the skills he developed from managing BibleVerseArt.com. As these new responsibilities increased and required more time, Theo was no longer able to provide the attention to detail at BibleVerseArt.com that he once had.
