Spring 2000 -- The seeds for ApeChild.com were planted just when the dotcom bubble reached its peak and began to burst. Originally conceived as a parody of the thousands of over-inflated dotcoms who thought they were going to change the world, we sought to lampoon sites like Pets.com. Did you ever read their mission statement and other bullshit on their site? What a load of crap. Since when was selling dog food and sock puppets online going to change the world? Give me a fucking break.
