We opened this internet-store to give you, who live away from Amish Country, an opportunity to buy the best handmade quilts available here, as well as the works of outstanding local artists and crafts people.
We are very "picky." We look hard at everything that we consider for placement on our web site and reject anything that is not beautiful, not well designed, or not well made. We reward our crafts-people by paying premium prices for their works.
We are striving to display the quilts and other works well enough, so that their beauty and quality are as apparent to a web surfer in Tokyo, as they are in our studio here in Lancaster. Our close-up photos hopefully, make it easier to see relevant workmanship details than when one looks with naked eye. We welcome your suggestions on how we can do even better.
