1977 – Oshman’s sporting Goods buys Abercrombie & Fitch.
1988 – Abercrombie & Fitch is acquired by The Limited. 1992 – The Company repositions its casual apparel section of business.
1999 – It becomes an independent company yet again.
2006 – Sales reach $3.3 billion and profits touch $422 million.
