A1Savannahs, formerly New Horizon Bengals, was founded by Joyce Sroufe.
Joyce started breeding Savannah Cats in the late 1980s and started to register first litters in 1994. She is well known among exotic cat owners and breeders as the original founder of the Savannah Cat Breed and an expert in the breeding and care of exotic cats.

Our Goals
Our goal in breeding the Savannah is to raise healthy Savannah kittens, that in appearance are as close as possible to the African Serval, with sweet and domesticated personalities. We do the highly demanded Savannah to Savannah mating. A1 Savannahs was the first Cattery worldwide to breed down to the later generations and produce fertile F5 males.
