7th Order is a American rock & roll band - for their debut recordings, the band was assisted by some well known rock & rollers in the studio:
Guitarist Martin Pugh was a respected sideman in the 60's & 70's - first emerging from the British blues scene of the 60's with "Steamhammer". He also toured with blues giant Freddie King, played lead guitar on the classic "Rod Stewart Album" alongside future Rolling Stone's guitarist & Jeff Beck Group bassist Ron Wood, and later joined "Armageddon", with the legendary Keith Relf (vocalist of The Yardbirds), and drummer Bobby Caldwell of Johnny Winter and Captain Beyond.
Guitarist Geoff Thorpe has led hard rock giants "Vicious Rumors" through many world tours, 14 very successful CD's and even MTV videos for 20 years now. This history making band consistently packs 'em in by the thousands at festivals in Europe every year.
After successfully recording, performing, appearing on TV and radio, and generally launching 7th Order in Seattle - they released their debut, "The Lake of Memory" EP on Big Island Sounds records in late 2007. As of November 2008 they are said to be recording new material, and live shows in Hawaii have recently taken place.
